Week 6 May 8 - May 15

Hi all,

I just finished and submitted my Chapter 2 Literature Review. You can view it at Chapter Two. I hope that I did it correctly. I worked on it the entire weekend, plus I took off part of today from work so that I could get some rest before going to class tonight.

From the process so far, (I am know that I am not done), I have used over 1 ream of paper just printing out articles and went through one black ink cartridge. I am sure that I will need more articles to research before this project is through.

How is everybody else doing? I hope that everyone else is finding their articles successfully. I know that just trying to find articles that relate to my topic is hard enough. But when I find them and begin printing them out, I feel a somewhat sigh of relief.

I still have to complete the readings for tonight. I will finish those this afternoon before class. But as for now, I am glad that I was able to get the literature review finished and turned in.

James,

I envy your having got it done! I'm still proof reading and wrestling with my citations.

This has been such a daunting task that it seems as if everything else is on hold: IRB, prototyping...

Hi James,

Your posting made me smile! :)
I know exactly what you have experienced. Printing out many many articles you think relevant.

It is really a dynamic and ongoing process as Davena mentioned. This course is to help you structure your Literature Review and get it going.

Enjoy the journey,

Baek

James,
I'm with you on the printing. I have gone through at least a ream of paper if not more plus have already changed my ink cartridge on two seperate printers. Congrats on getting it done on time, I'm still working on completeing mine before the deadline.
